Personally prosecuted and/or supervised the prosecution of over 1,000 cases during his career

During 2005 through February 4, 2011 supervised the Violent Crime, Firearms and Felony Narcotic Units

From 1996 to 1998 served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the investigation, indictment and the successful prosecution of fifty-five LAW gang members

Awarded the 1998 Director's Award for Superior Performance from the United States Attorney
